More than 30 years
of ministry.
For more than 30 years, our pastor Josue B. Castaneda has worked as a pastor, missionary, and evangelist in Cuba and the United States.
A graduate in Mechanical Engineering and Economics from the Universidad de Oriente, he recognized his calling to ministry at an early age. He graduated in Theology from the Seminario Bautista de Cuba Oriental.
He later earned a diploma in Theology, Pastoral Ministry, and Christian Chaplaincy from the Seminario Reina Valera; a master's degree in Theology from the Instituto Bíblico Valera de Carolina; and an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Emmanuel Christian University.
Throughout his ministry, he has served in different churches and founded more than 100 prayer groups, churches, and ministries. Among them, he founded Iglesia Bautista Enmanuel in Santiago de Cuba.
In 2016, he founded Berea Baptist Church in his own home.
His wife, Saray Rodriguez, has accompanied and supported him in his calling to ministry. Pastor Josue has two daughters and four grandchildren.
